Record Readership This Month

Mrs Monk has discovered  how to assess the readership of this site by logging on to the sites service provider where she has become a daily visitor. She keeps me posted. It seems that this particular month of October 2005, has exceeded our best month since the site was launched. This month we have had 8066 page impressions and the number of new visitors (unique visits) has also grown by 882

Mrs Monk has now decided that she wants to participate in the content of the diary page that carries her name. I told her that she is free to submit anything for consideration of the editor.

Swimsuit Spam

I have a small mailing list of people I know personally,  or have asked to be put there.

A promotional flier was sent out to this exclusive list of lucky people on the 7th January 2006, entitled “Mrs Monk In A Swimsuit” The following day, Shoestringonline had a record number of page views, 2331 for a single day, to be precise.

Is this a coincidence?     Possibly so, but unlikely since the mailing list is really quite small, perhaps 50 names, not all of whom are male heterosexuals.

I will publish the figures for the whole of January at the end of the month.

If you wanted to be added to the very exclusive mailing list that we do not call SPAM, please drop me a line or two.
